Character Building Campaign
Students at West High School in Sioux City have started a “Get Green” campaign to invigorate school pride both on and off campus. The student group adopted a “Character Counts” program that promotes trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Students are conducting a community fundraiser that includes donations toward a new Student Commons where upper-class students earning Privilege Passes could gather unsupervised throughout the school day.
FEH donated its design services in creating a floor plan and a colored, 3D animated rendering of the proposed commons. The design uses six pillars within the commons space to state the Character Count virtues - trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. View animation >
