DENISON RECREATIONAL CENTER   Denison, Iowa FEH designed this freestanding 21,885 square foot single story structure as a centerpiece for after-hours campus life. The design responded to needs that included durability of finishes and materials, natural light-enhanced interior environments, and a high degree of visual control from the centrally-located administration space. Highlights of the facility include the gymnasium with high school sized basketball court, cross courts and volleyball court; a weight room, an aerobics room, locker rooms, a library/media center, arts/craft room with two kilns, a multipurpose room, a game room, and a snack bar.
