FEH-Hubbell team to build $34 million Drake U. housing complex

FEH Associates will be the architect for a $34 million complex that will provide suite-style living for 500 Drake University students. Upperclass and graduate students will reside in the three five-story buildings on Drake’s Des Moines campus. One building will include retail space on the lower level. Hubbell Realty will build and manage the facilities under a partnership with Drake University. Construction is set for completion in Fall 2008. FEH also designed the $12 million conversion of Drake’s Goodwin-Kirk dormitory to suite-style housing. That renovation was completed in September 2003.
