Kaufman, Mullenix earn registered architect status

 Karl Kaufman, P.E., AIA, and Tami Mullenix, AIA, members of the FEH design team have recently received registered architect status as Iowa licensed architects. To earn registered architect status a candidate must successful complete the seven-part Architect Registration Exam.
A 1996 architectural engineering graduate from Kansas State University, Kaufman is also a licensed structural engineer in Iowa and Kansas. He joined FEH in 2004 where his projects include serving as Structural Engineer of Record for the $22 million Bridge View Center in Ottumwa, Iowa. Kaufman currently is president of the Structural Engineering Association of Iowa and a LEED® accredited professional with the U.S. Green Building Council.
