MISSOURI VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY   Missouri Valley, Iowa FEH Associates designed a seamless extension of this 1911 Carnegie Library that added a fireplace reading area, children’s library and computer stations with internet access. The 7,200 square foot expansion provides a new entry placed at ground level for easy access. Other new features include an elevator and enlarged, handicapped accessible restrooms. The remodeled existing building opens up to the addition with a section of original windows converted to a balcony overlooking the new public access area. The project also created additional staff areas and a public meeting room with kitchenette.
