MOUNT AYR ELEMENTARY/HIGH SCHOOL ADDITIONS

Mount Ayr, Iowa
A proposed $8 million addition to the district’s elementary and high school facilities will be built after the district passed their bond issue with the assistance of FEH with a nearly 70% voter approval. The design is currently in the schematic design phase and field work will begin soon on the soils testing and site surveys. A new Gymnasium and Locker Room addition with geo-thermal HVAC system will be constructed at the high school. A new multi-purpose room, music room, commons and classrooms will be constructed at the elementary with a geo-thermal HVAC system. The project is $6.7 million with anticipated start of construction in May 2008.
