SUSTAINABLE DESIGN   Long before “green architecture” and “sustainable design” became industry buzz words, FEH was involved in conservation and energy efficient design. In presenting FEH with our second Energy Leadership award, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources acknowledged FEH “...has pioneered the use of passive solar building designs and high-efficiency energy systems...” We continue to build upon our energy efficient reputation as a member firm of the U.S. Green Building Council which has developed the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating system.
